For Sale is a Rare Pottery Vase by Samuel Calder.
Samuel Calder was born in 1916 and passed away in 1991.
He went to Brigham Young University and graduated fine arts degree.
He was a illustrator and an amazing photographer.
He loved to learn different artist's crafts. He shared his passion for pottery/stoneware with his wife. They opened a pottery studio.
This is a Treasure.
It is glazed with copper, gray, brown and white dots. It is concaved in 5 sides with pinched and scratched technique.
It measures 3 3/4" high x 4" wide (having 5 sides) and the top hole and lip is 2 7/8" wide.
It is signed Calder and thin brown glaze.
