Description: This is a beautiful, hand carved, 19th century footstool/ottoman from the late 1800's. The date of construction is based on … more This is a beautiful, hand carved, 19th century footstool/ottoman from the late 1800's. The date of construction is based on the inner workings of the stool and the fabrication process in producing it. It is in the Louis the XVI style and has been fully restored, inside and out, as close to its original condition as possible. All the original springs and some of the padding were used in the restoration to preserve the historical look and feel of this piece. This ottoman/stool is in new restored condition, meaning, it has not been used since the restoration.
