Offering this beautiful vintage (mid-century) heirloom maple cabinet by Ethan Allen. Cabinet comes in two pieces with the hutch resting atop the base and secured with screws. It features built-in display rails, removable silverware dividers, and a build-in tray that easily slides out as either a working extension or for carrying stored pieces to another area of the home.
I am a huge fan of vintage Ethan Allen cabinets, which are extremely well-crafted using solid hardwoods and dovetail joinery. They also tend to be smaller, more compact and less "fussy" in style, which makes them extremely versatile and suitable for use beyond a formal dining room -- including, for example, in a kitchen, laundry room, pantry, garden or mud room and even a large bathroom. Although this particular cabinet would look terrific in a formal dining space, its compact size, warm color, shutter doors, and restrained hardware make it a great candidate for use in other, less-formal spaces. I incorporated a vintage Ethan Allen cabinet (from this same period) into the design of my own laundry room. Not only does it elevate the space (making it a room you actually want to spend time in), it also offers a ton of compact, well-organized storage. less
