Vintage serving set of Everlast Hand Forged Aluminum casserole dish and pliyer in "Bali Bamboo" pattern. This set includes 1 casserole dish with faux bamboo handles and a lid with faux bamboo handle and Bali Bamboo , The set was made with great craftsmanship and is ready to add flare to your dining room or next cocktail party! The undersides of cacerole is marked, "Everlast Forged Aluminum" , in great conditions with no damage at all.
About the company:
Everlast was founded by Louis Schnitzer and his brother-in-law, Nathan Gelfman. They were experienced metalworkers in their homeland of Kiev, Russia before immigrating to the United States in the 1910s. In 1932 they formed Everlast Metal Products Corporation and began producing high-quality, hand-forged aluminum giftware. Hammered aluminum giftware products were, at once, both “old” and “new.” In an era of growing uniformity via factory production, the “made by hand” aspect of these products held an aesthetic appeal for consumers, while their aluminum material made them seem decidedly modern. They operated until they closed their company in 1961. less
