"Tobacco Leaf" is a highly recognizable classic Chinese pattern of the brightly colored flowering Nicotiana (Tobacco) plant. A delicate phoenix bird perches on the large, boldly painted leaves as another small phoenix flies in. This hand painted, fabulous footed bowl is unusually large with a 12 inch diameter and quite heavy. A design that is as beautiful as it is timeless. Late 19th to Early 20th century. No maker's mark.
In pristine as found condition from a Palm Beach Estate.
