There's … more Really nice piece of Majolica with the applied flowers on both sides and lovely blue bow on the handle. There's the epic yellow rose and a smaller pink bud on the front and on the back, another pink bud. The basket is brown with the basketweave pattern all over and stems and leaves. Two small turquoise bows on the ends of the handle. The inside is the beautiful majolica turquoise blue. There's a mark on the bottom but I cannot read it. I can see a number 8 but cannot make out the letters. This is a great show piece! I do not know if this is continental or european majolica, so just guessing it might be english. This is a large piece. The depth given below is from flower to flower on the front/back. The actual "bowl" is 4 1/2" deep. The yellow rose on the front is about 4" round and 2" deep so there's a lot of dimension to this piece. less
