George III style wall curio or display cabinet, circa mid 20th century. Made of walnut featuring a broken pediment top, interior shelves with optional inserts, and glass doors locked by fish clasp. Two available. One has brass American Eagle finial, one has elongated acorn trophy finial.
Provenance: Estate of Carol Levitan and Jesse Philips
Mr. Philips was both a retailer, as an owner of a Dayton department store, and a manufacturer who transformed a tiny window company into Philips Industries, an enterprise that was sold in 1990 for about $550 million to a British company. less
