The bronze tubing in this example is … more An early California-made bronze patio lounge chair by Walter Lamb antecedent, Robert Lewis. The bronze tubing in this example is very slender, sculpted into a chair with an angled backrest, comparatively low-set arms, and the C-shaped supports that often distinguish Lewis’ designs. The frame terminates at two decorative finials at either side of the backrest resembling a pinecone. Woven sailcord forms the seat.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition; rope has been replaced with waxed cotton sail cord according to the original design.
