These were … more This is a Great Looking Antique American Country Primitive Dry Measure. VERY LARGE SIZE!. Circa Late 19th Century. These were used to Measure Grains, Rice, Beans, Seeds, Flour, Etc. It is Completely Hand Made with Steam Bent Oak Sides and a Pine Bottom. It is Quite Strong - Substantially Made. It also has Numerous Applied Steel Side and Bottom Bands adding to its Structure. It has No Maker or Other Markings. It is in Very Nice Original - Strong - Sound Usable Condition. It has Great Honest Aged Patina and it Displays Beautifully. The Pine Wood Bottom Panel has a Couple Age Related Shrinkage Cracks but this does effect its strength or usability.
It Measures Inches 8 3/4 inches Tall x 14 1/2 inches Wide - Long.
