Beautiful Murano handblown Sommerso green, gold flecks and controlled bubbles Italian art glass bowl / ashtray. Documented to designer Flavio Poli and Archimede Seguso for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1930-1940s. Created in the "Bollicine" technique. It has 3 pieces of clear glass with gold leaf attached to the corners. Similar pieces are published in the company's book, Seguso Vetri d'Arte, glass objects from Murano (1932-1973). Would make a great display piece on any desk. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/2" across.
