An exceptionally rare Jolly Roger Skull desk clock by luxury Swiss watchmaker Corum. The vintage limited edition artisanal timepiece finely crafted of metal and enamel, in exotic sculptural form depicting a human skull over crossbones base with polychrome painted coiled snake figure bezel encasing central Corum signed spider clad alarm clock.
The most impressive feature of the unusual example is the skull that lifts open to reveal the concealed white clock face, which takes the form of the spider and web encircled by a detailed green serpent. The position of the spider indicates the time the alarm is set, adjusted by the gilt crown on the right. The time is set by a second gilt crown on the left.
This exquisite clock also serves as a creative work of art. Artistic, refreshing design that's both functional and decorative. It's small proportions make it ideal for an office work desk, console table, bedside nightstand, or portable for hotel and travel.
Don’t let this uniquely distinctive and eye-catching objet d'art pass by!
