Dating to the mid-20th century, bold, palatial size, finished in luxurious Neo-classical taste, featuring rich, deep red mahogany finish, surmounted by an elaborately shaped crest adorned with highly stylized acanthus leaf and scroll flourish foliate ornamentation in relief, over grand, full length mirror, the sides of the elegant frame having tall fluted columns with intricately detailed Corinthian capitals, flanking the grand, central full length mirror, with upper and lower embellished with deeply carved and gilded classical scrolled acanthus leaf design.

Good vintage condition. Presents splendidly. Nicely aged distressed patina. Solid, sturdy and structurally sound, with delicate detailing. Wear and tear consistent with age and use, including imperfections such as minor losses throughout including small gilt finish losses. Touched up in several spots but blended beautifully. Overall, an exceptional piece, stunning, functional art, delivered ready to hang on the wall. less
