This vintage plate was part of an estate in Central Ohio. Fine French Limoges plate made of bone china. The plate is beautiful and in very good condition.

The plate measures approx.. 8 3/4" across. The center picture is of a mother and her child,[ Mme Vigee- LeBrun et sa Fille] 1755 -1842. The border of the plate is a dark red (cranberry) with a gold scroll pattern and it has a thin gold border that surrounds the plate.

The original painting is in the Louvre museum in France.

The plate shows virtually no amount of wear. Overall the plate is beautiful and was obviously kept in a curio cabinet for many years. less
