This Henri Matisse rare vintage 1992 Museum of Modern Art custom framed offset lithograph print " The Dream " 1939 - 40, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The offset lithograph print is published by The Museum of Modern Art New York, printed in 1992 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an artwork image originally created by Matisse in 1939 - 40 titled " The Dream ", copyright 1992 Succession H. Matisse / Artists Rights Society ( ARS ), N.Y.
Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. Matisse is commonly regarded, along with Picasso as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of The Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art. Artworks by Matisse are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print framed offset lithograph museum print measures 13 1/2" W X 16 1/2" H X 7/8" D. It is custom framed with glass in a Contemporary Modern pink matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side or easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed.
