I painted this plein air (on location) in my backyard across the golf course. I set up my easel and painted the view across the golf course looking at the hills my husband climbs every morning. I have climbed them a few times but they are extremely steep and are slippery even with hiking poles and so most mornings I am biking on my NordicTrack bike.
