Substantial scalloped shell-shaped Chinoiserie bowl with the 'WL 1895' Wong Lee maker's mark on the back and a center strewn with colorful botanicals bordered in gold vines, leaves and buds. The center floral design is reminiscent of Royal Copenhagen 'Flora Danica'.
Wong Lee International Co., established in China in 1976, marks their pieces with the date '1895' in commemoration of the end of the war between Japan and China.
