It is American in Origin. NOTE! that the Threaded Brass Water Filler Cap is Embossed with 2 Different 1857 Patent Dates It is Completely Hand Made out of Heavy Gauge - Solid Copper. It is Quite Heavy Weighing Approx. 2 3/4 Pounds ( Empty). It does Not Appear to have a Maker Mark. It is in very good overall condition but it is Tarnished - Needs a Good Cleaning & Polishing. It Holds Water - No Holes - No Leaks. It would make a Unique Decorator Item - Conversation Piece.
There is a Small Dent on one End that can Best be Seen in the 12th - Last Listing Photograph.
It Measures Overall 5 3/4 inches Tall x 13 inches Long x 9 inches Wide.
