A strong and vivid artwork that punctuates her rhythmic, gestural marks with contrasts of white, black, yellow and gray, "The Sun's Coming Out Today" will add texture and elegant layers to any space. This energetic, sculptural painting is inspired by the shift from night to day and the sunrise in the lower Hudson Valley where Monica creates in her studio overlooking the Hudson River. This painting is created on a gallery-wrapped canvas that is painted on all four sides. This piece works beautifully with it's sister piece, "Just Before Sunrise" listed separately on Chairish.

Monica has been featured in various publications including Popular Photography, Create magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2019 she was named "Best Artist" in Westchester by Westchester magazine. Her work has been shown at the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City, the National Association of Women Artists, Photo LA, Art Market Hamptons, PULSE Art Fair, and the New York Mercantile Exchange, among others.
