This is a vivid and colorful painting that punctuates Monica's rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades of greens, pinks and yellows, punctuated by subtle pink magenta and highlighting in white. Monica was inspired by the hope and renewal of the change in season from winter to spring to summer when creating this artwork. "Summer Green" will add a calming energy to any space with its sculptural strokes inspired by spring and summer and the rainy season that brings all the green in the lower Hudson Valley where Monica creates in her studio overlooking the Hudson River.

Monica has been featured in various publications including Popular Photography, Create magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2019 she was named "Best Artist" in Westchester by Westchester magazine. Her work has been shown at the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City, Photo LA, the National Association of Women Artists , Art Market Hamptons, PULSE Art Fair, and the New York Mercantile Exchange, among others.
