Elegant pair of 1950s American Modern table lamps composed of a solid walnut platform base and spindle-constructed frame that houses … Read more Elegant pair of 1950s American Modern table lamps composed of a solid walnut platform base and spindle-constructed frame that houses an inset brass circular base and brass-plated rod at the center. Lamps are finished on the top by gilt aluminum mounts connected to brass stems, and on the bottom with plinth walnut bases. Plating-loss to one of the two center rods gives it a chrome-like appearance, unlike the other brass-plated rod. Finial and inset brass circular bases show patina / tarnish in places.
Aluminum has been re-painted to match that of the original. Wiring, sockets, and on / off pull string are all new.
