From the upper torso into the ribcage all the way towards the lower section of one's upper thighs, in utilizing the classic marble choice by many Artists/sculptors, as this piece has been hand honed and carved, whereupon one can see the chiseling marks f the tools of the trades in a couple areas, amongst the overall figure. Gorgeous veining exudes throughout the sinuous shape. beyond the presence of strength in the material alone, but in the execution by the artist as well. Beautifully mounted and presented, where one can rotate, by turning the base to any desired position. It is quite heavy and substantial in girth that it weighs between 25-30 lbs., upon which we shall re-adjust the weight to give an exact. Felted base bottom original to when e optioned the piece. We did not want to take the felt off and discern if there may be an artist signature and leave it up to the next person who will own this lovely piece. No chips or cracks to any of the marble pieces.
