Along the top left side there is a faint water stain - very small and faint. The along the bottom left there is a similar stain that extends up into the title as well as along the bottom margin about half way over. Really not that bad and something that could be cleaned if desired. It really is a wonderful scarce early print and that is why I have preserved it as it is. less

This is just a great original piece. This is an outstanding early work by important master printmaker jeorgen strunck. For those not familiar with the artist, I have included his biography below. This is really a scarce early work by the artist. A large screenprint with the sheet measuring 30 x 22 1/2 inches. Signed, dated, titled, and numbered 2/3 in pencil along the bottom margin. Overall it is in good condition with just a few small issues. Along the top left side there is a faint water stain - very small and faint. The along the bottom left there is a similar stain that extends up into the title as well as along the bottom margin about half way over. Really not that bad and something that could be cleaned if desired. It really is a wonderful scarce early print and that is why I have preserved it as it is. A new owner can decide what to do. Original gold frame is complimentary and ready to hang. Original obelisk gallery label taped verso. Frame measures 30 3/4 x 23 1/4 inches.
For those not familiar with the artist his biography from one of the museums that has his work reads: "juergen strunck taught drawing and printmaking courses at the university of dallas from 1968 until 2014. He also directed all 20 university of dallas national print invitationals, as well as 30 years of matrix visiting artist/editioning workshops. Since 1968 he has had over 80 solo exhibitions in alabama, colorado, georgia, illinois, indiana, iowa, kansas, nebraska, north carolina, north dakota, oklahoma, pennsylvania, tennessee, texas, utah, washington and wyoming, as well as in brazil, denmark, germany, great britain, scotland, taiwan, and yugoslavia. He’s presented over 50 workshops/lectures in arizona, colorado, florida, georgia, illinois, indiana, iowa, kansas, kentucky, massachusetts, michigan, nebraska, new york, texas, utah, washington, wyoming, brazil and scotland." less
