Each generation has made it just right for them. My Grandma inherited the dresser and decided to paint it in the antique white style popular at her time. About 40 years ago we inherited it and refinished it to what we hope is the original color. We used it as our baby dresser and changing table in our small apartment. Now it serves our guests as a place to open their suitcases.
This signed piece is in used condition with imperfections. The drawers are functional but need restoration to operate more smoothly. One knob is missing it's center back piece that attaches to the front wood. The refinishing has some places where the prior finish shows through.
This old wooden dresser has character, charm and is a hefty solid piece-the kind they don't make anymore. Buy it and you'll own a piece of American History. less
