This piece of usable textile art is a stunning example of a vintage handwoven and hand embroidered Guatemalan apron with traditional Guatemalan patterns and designs. The apron itself is a hand woven natural cotton in a bold shade of red. It has four large pockets making it great for cooking, crafting, and ease of use. It ties around your waist in the back via red cotton ties (same fabric as the apron itself). Along the bottom of the apron there are incredibly detailed Guatemalan figures and design hand embroidered in bright colors and including fun 3D elements. It would make the perfect housewarming gift for a hostess, a great piece for yourself while entertaining, or it could even be framed or hung as textile art.
