The Moiré project is an exercise in optical and formal aesthetics.
Each individual artwork is made purely of two, straight edged, shaped sections of mosquito netting folded and layered over and around each other. The frame, and in particular the glass itself, is vital to the construction of each piece so much so that without the glass the constraining element would evaporate, the mosquito netting would spring open, and the effect would vanish. less
