Rare vintage Corning Ware P-35-B Renaissance Broil Bake Serve Roasting Tray Platter.
This is a beautiful serving tray manufactured by Corning Ware for their Renaissance line. Renaissance was a limited gift line that was only produced in very limited quantities in 1970 in 5 Corning Ware pieces, 3 casserole dishes, a percolator, and the serving tray. The pattern is a copy of an old etching of Stockholm's seaport with victory arch in the book Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna written by Erik Dahlbergh around the middle of the 17th century. The enamel color chosen by Corning to replicate the etching is referred to as Miniver Grey. Each piece has part of the etching on it with the tray having by far the most due to size. It is very difficult to find any of the Renaissance pieces. less
