It has a beautiful veneer finish on the front … more This petite, sewing/nursing Rocking chair is from the early 20th century. It has a beautiful veneer finish on the front of the top of the chair, with a lovely carved floral decoration on the top. The cane seat is in very good condition with minimal aging wear. Please see pictures for details. The rails are sturdy and in good working condition with no loose joints. The chair is in a sturdy condition. The sewing/nursing chair is so called because it has no arms and is low to the ground which made it easy for daily tasks such as sewing or nursing. This small piece of history is in wonderful condition for its age. Please consider the pictures as part of the description.



The veneer on the back of the rocker has been removed and painted to replace the original veneer that was missing. The cane seat is in good condition but has small, minimal flaws which is consistent with age. Please see pictures and consider them as part of the description. less
