Absolutely stunning vintage Chippendale-style armoire was manufactured by Baker Furniture of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Tremendous quality, constructed of mahogany wood, with three large bowed drawers in the lower portion, each with solid white oak boxes, and antiqued brass hardware.. This piece has the signed silver metal Baker maker's mark tag in top drawer.
The upper portion features two large cabinet doors inlaid with gorgeous flame mahogany that absolutely shimmers in the light. Behind the cabinet doors you'll find a full-length adjustable shelf bowed to match exterior, two pull out drawers, a small pull-out self, swivel shelf for a TV, and interior electric outlets. You'll also find beautiful detailing across the entire piece, including the front corners of the cabinet, which show a swath of inlaid fruitwood that runs the length of the piece, top to bottom as well as very nice sculptural detailing around the top edge of the piece.. This cabinet is truly a work of art.
This armoire from early 1990s is in excellent condition including the mahogany finish. This piece has some wear consistent with its age. This armoire is from the original owner and has been maintained in a pet-free, non-smoking residence master bedroom since original purchase.

The overall dimensions are 41ʺW × 20ʺD × 78ʺH.
The three drawers are bowed. As such, the front to back inside measurement varies from 14 7/8" at the sides to 16 7/8" in the middle. Each drawer has inside width of 36 7/8". The inside height of the drawers is as follows: top drawer is 4.25"; middle & bottom drawers are 5.25". The shelf in the upper cabinet has 3 adjustable positions. The top shelf is shown in pictures at its highest level of 3 7/8" from the top of the inside of cabinet. The other two shelf levels are 5 7/8" and 7 7/8" respectfully from the inside top of cabinet. less
