They are modern with an accent of Art Nouveau design. There are no etchings or decorative motifs, however the handles do have leaves and a few balls which was popular at that period. Other characteristics of Art Nouveau were a sense of dynamism and movement, often given by asymmetry as seen here. They each stand on a base thereby lifting it off the surface. Use them as a pair or single, they are the perfect size for hosting. less
