Captivating solid brass eagle perched on an orb with wings spread as if ready to launch into flight. I’ve kept this beauty semi-polished over the years, enjoying the look you see in the photos. It can be polished to produce a gleaming brass finish, if that is your preference. The wing spread and feather details are quite beautiful! It’s a perfect accent piece for a mantel or desktop or any place where you’d like to make a statement. In excellent condition with little to no oxidization to the brass. It had a makers label at one time that stated it was made in Taiwan by Leonard Silver, Mfg., a Towle Co. Leonard Silver was acquired by Towle Silversmiths in 1978. In 1990, Towle Silversmiths was acquired by the holding company Syratech, Inc. that also owned Wallace Silversmiths and the International Silver Company and in 2006, Lifetime Brands, Inc. purchased Syratech, Inc., thereby acquiring all three brands. So this beauty was made sometime in the late 1970s to early 1980s. It measures as follows:
