"Odyssey" framed original watermedia painting by Joyce Lee-Petersen. Hand signed by the artist. Framed Size: 22" x 13", Image Size: 15-1/2" x 7". Frame is not new and has some nicks and wear. BIO:
Joyce Lee-Petersen has been a watercolor artist for as long since she was a young girl. She says, “At age 12 in school you could choose art or music. I chose art and have loved it forever. I have been involved in painting for as long as I can remember.”
Joyce teaches two classes a week. One at the Henderson Senior Center, with about 20 watercolor students, and the other at the Whitney Center for the Clark County Parks and Recreation, in acrylic. Joyce’s work is on display at the art Encounter Gallery in Las Vegas, the Boulder City Art Gallery, and her Studio at 398 Newbury Court, In Henderson.
Joyce says she participates in shows for three reasons, “To show, to tell and to sell. I have compiled over 300 buyers in this (Henderson) area. These buyers return each year. I usually send out two mailings per one year. Listing my spring and fall shows.”
Joyce received the Cliff Segenbloum award for outstanding painting at the Clark County Art Festival in 2001, is a juried member of the Nevada Watercolor Society, and was the 2000 poster artist for the ArtFest of Henderson. less
