Vintage framed Eisho woodblock print. This beautiful piece of artwork was created by Chokosai Eisho (Japanese, active late 18th century) via woodblock print on paper. This specific piece was titled "The Courtesan Shizuka," and was part of the "A Comparison of Beauties of the Pleasure Quarters," series. This 20th century print was made by Uchido Art Co. out of Kyoto Japan. The original artwork which was created in 1794. It is signed and titled on the front of the artwork and has detailed info taped on the back of the frame (see our photo in the listing to read). It has universal metal hardware on the back for easy hanging on any wall with a nail.
