Manner of production is characteristic of items made for the pilgrimage trade in the Holy Land, notably Jerusalem
As both Jerusalem (then a part of the Mandatory Protectorate of Palestine) and Cyprus were under British Rule at the time, the box was most likely made in what is now Israel and Palestine and exported to Cyprus for the tourist trade
Circa 1914-1925. The period of British military occupation of Cyprus
