While the subject matter is pure Amundsen, the brush strokes and signature are a bit of a departure from his most known work. That said, he was a master at marketing his work under a variety (a dozen or more) of pseudonyms and subjects.

Colors are vibrant with an overall celadon background and sky.

Newly framed in a beautiful textural medium gray beveled wood. Painting is on canvas and dry mounted on archival board. Framing alone valued at $475.
