This Henri Matisse rare vintage 1982 lithograph print custom framed Tel Aviv Museum exhibition poster " Interieur A Collioure " 1905, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print poster is published by The Tel Aviv Museum, printed in Israel in 1982 by Tavnit Press on the occasion of The 50th Jubilee Exhibition " Masters of Modern Art ". It features an artwork image originally created by Matisse in 1905 titled " Interieur A Collioure " ( Interior at Collioure ),
Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. Matisse is commonly regarded, along with Picasso as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of The Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art.
The rare out of print lithograph print framed exhibition poster measures 29" W X 27" H X 7/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte eggshell finish turquoise aqua blue wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent condition. The poster print is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling and wear. There is some light visible wear from age in the side and lower margin border areas. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference.
