It is an extremely nice item. Wonderful burl walnut on top. The skirt is pierced carved. The cabriole legs are carved on the knees and feet. The shape is a little unusual for this style and time period piece (more typical would be a round top.) Even the bottom cross brace although practical for more support is carved to add a beautiful element.

It is an extremely decorative and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction, although its style came from the previous centuries. It was probably made about the 1930's less
