- I have always been fascinated by petroglyphs and shaman imagery and I have collected design elements from Shaman drums and … more I have always been fascinated by petroglyphs and shaman imagery and I have collected design elements from Shaman drums and rock carvings. I got a group of embroiderers and gave the design pool and got them embroidered in black silk onto Vintage weavings that I collected in Anatolia, Turkey. The result is here. Each design group I got made is different and unique. The number of the pieces is limited to 15. The weaving is made of cotton and goat hair. The Kilim, used is vintage dating back to 1950s, 1960s.
