A victorian Inlaid Lacquer Tea Table in the manner of Chippendale style. Circa19th century. Features a circular top with bird and flower inlay, raised on a tripod base with gilt accents and ball and claw feet.
Provenance: Estate of Carol Levitan and Jesse Philips
Mr. Philips was both a retailer, as an owner of a Dayton department store, and a manufacturer who transformed a tiny window company into Philips Industries, an enterprise that was sold in 1990 for about $550 million to a British company.
