Circa 1960's; Is this wonderful, soft, alluring and ethereal, Italian hand-blown Cenedese' Murano dual position conch/shell-shaped catchall, decorative bowl and/or accent piece. In a combination of opalescent white and pink hues; which depending upon the natural light, artificial light, or given daylight aperture of normal and prismatic refractory of light passing thru and above or around, this Murano bowl, it takes on more of a depth and richness of coloration of fuchsia, soft red tomato to red rasberry and lavender hues, upon the meeting of the 2 main color hues, while given at other times, a more translucent soft pink hued abounds, beyond and in addition to the dual polished pontil base bottoms. Given the the capability of the bowl in an upright position or repose or downwards, in a clam shell, and/or conch shaped position. The bowl has 2 crimped appendages or IF one may envision, fortune-cookie like visual of crimped ends or appendages. Any small minute or miniscule bubbles, or air pockets, within, here and there within the mainframe body, is due to the inherent nature of one of a kind pieces, no two alike, in and during the blowing process, otherwise no flea bites, nor chips. Piece has been extremely, well maintained. From a Boca Raton Private Golf Club Community Estate. The family who held this Estate, informed us of the multiple Murano pieces, and upon asking regarding why the provenance stickers were not evident, as which some owners remove them, and thus they were all gone from the pieces, there. We were informed the Grandmother hated the obstruction, and thus removed them, but this piece is Documented within the Cenedese Murano Company.
