Circa 1980's, A wonderful example of fake food, or in this case, a piece of Tromp l'ceil, a la' Pop-Art, which were manufactured for any household, a curiosity piece, with whimsy at best, and beyond a conversation piece, accompanied within any interior domain, given each individualized desirability. As one can see here, it is a proverbial Diner coffee cup and saucer underplot, along with metal spoon, and a pair of chocolate covered ganache biscuits. An Iconic image, instantly recognizable, that which conjures up many far and wide, warm memories for all included, individual and essentially, notwithstanding nostalgia for Diners, and a bygone era in some dichotomies.
