Born in Sweden in the last decade of the 19th century, this painted sideboard features a rectangular top with canted corners in the front, sitting above two drawers, each opening thanks to a round wooden knob. Two doors below, each adorned with a frame accented with floral motifs in the corners and diamond-shaped escutcheons, make up the façade. They are flanked with canted and fluted side posts. The sideboard is raised on four slender tapered legs, the front ones being angled and decorated with exquisite floral capitals.
