Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 19th century, each of this pair of Rococo style armchairs features a pierced back with carved splat, connected to two serpentine open arms. The rectangular seat, recovered with a neutral toned fabric, is resting on a carved apron. The ensemble is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through a turned cross-stretcher. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes, this pair of Swedish Rococo style armchairs circa 1890 will bring a refined touch to any home decor.
