Such detail and expression found in these silvered cast iron figural monkeys. I am not for certain they are bookends but they are certainly heavy enough weighing 5 lbs a piece to be able to get the job done, they are very solid and would hold up a very nice collection of books. Sold as a pair. Monkey see Monkey do. Very Hollywood Regency but could even have an Asian theme or African element too.
