We are selling this absolutely stunning early example of Roman glass. This dark colored brown glass has oxidized with exceptional iridescent sections of vivid rainbow colors. The biggest flaw of the vase is it does not easily sit right side up. This vase comes from a fine Connecticut Estate collection of Roman Glass and pottery we have been consigned to sell.
Condition: Good for the age of the piece. small chip or pontil mark on the base of the vase.
