- Chair and ottoman need to be reupholstered because there are rips in the fabric. Seat and back cushions are on … moreChair and ottoman need to be reupholstered because there are rips in the fabric. Seat and back cushions are on the soft side so new owner might want to replace them with firmer cushions. The concealed support for the seat (springs) are in good shape. Couple of cracks on the walnut trim of the ottoman (see photos) but these are only cosmetic flaws and don't affect the ottoman structurally. Walnut trim on the chair is in excellent condition with minor wear related to age and all the legs are in excellent condition. Legs on both the chair and ottoman seem to be fixed and not removable in case that is of any importance to new owner. less

Possibly Milo Baughman's most beautiful and desirable design for a lounge chair and ottoman set! This rare set was designed in the 1950s for James Inc of High Point, North Carolina. Seat and back cushions are removable and the chair frame has walnut trim with tapered walnut legs. Upholstery is original and chair still retains all the tags and label. This set needs to be reupholstered because there are rips in the fabric. New owner will get to redo this set to the exact fabric of his/her choice! Stunning mid century modern design with amazing lines!
*Ottoman is 23" x 23" x 13" high (square shape), about 3" lower than the seat height of the chair (16").
