This brass wall lamp was produced by Høvik Verk, a classic name in Scandinavian design, having worked with designers such as Louis Poulsen, Verner Panton, and Poul Henningsen. This particular model is designed by Jonas Hidle, one of the house designers at Christiana Glasmagasin, ca.1969. The handblown glass shade, with it's bubbled detail, casts a beautifully warm light both above and below, creating a cozy ambiance- also known as "hygge. "
