Artwork depicts a street scene in Tangier, Morocco in varying hues of blue, from soft sky blue to rich turquoise and deep Navy. Late 19th / Early 20th century.

Within the mostly monochromatic scene there is one small, bright red dot representing the hat of a man in the distance. There are two figures in the foreground and two figures in the background. In both cases, it looks like a veiled woman on the right and her male chaperone.

The mood is quiet and somber. Matted and framed in materials that look to be from the same period of the artwork. Other artwork created by Annie L Simpson in the same medium is titled 'Moonlight Tangier and 'La Calvire'.
