There is no visible damage to the scene in the frame, the only damage visible are two small chips on the upper corners, if you display the frame vertically. This damage is clearly shown in the listing photos. 3D Ucagco bird in a windowframe with flowers pieces are rare to come by. Rectangle shaped ceramic faux woodgrain "frame" has holes for wall hanging & also has slanted ceramic feet conveniently built into the body of the ceramic frame for easy desk or mantle display of this beautifully hand painted bluejay bird on a vine. Measurements of the Front are 6.5 accross by 8.5 tall, piece measures 1.5 inches thick, rear measurement is 5.5 accross by 7.5 tall. These bird displays are a rarity today, most of the 3D framed scenes that I find for sale, intact & unrepaired, are holiday displays featuring tiny ceramic people & Xmas or Easter themed decor, not birds or flowers & this one is an exceptionally well crafted example of a hand painted - 3D-ceramic - all - in - one - piece - windowbox - diorama - display. These scene in frame dioramas were made mostly between the 1930s & the 1960s by the ceramic production studio houses, around the globe, that specialized in the production of inexpensive ( at that time ), decorative, ceramic, household items, many of which are now held amongst some of the most highly collectible , decorative household items ever made. There are similar 3D scene in frame displays made of chalkware from the same era. less
