It features brass: drop handles/pulls, escutcheons and locks, a rectangular top above, graduated 2 over 2 drawers, on splayed feet, It is full of age and character with Handmade Dovetail joints
Brass Escutcheons fitted with Capercaillie embossed Brass Oval Handles,
Sitting upon very elegant splay bracket feet with a shaped apron.
The high quality of the workmanship and techniques used in the construction of this chest are excellent examples of Late Georgian Period (early 19th c.)The chest has a lovely deep color and patina, and would have been made circa 1810’s or 1820’s. It is approximately 200 years old. Classic and very stately.
