This hand carved standing wine cherub is of a nice size at 21 inches tall. The cherub is holding a bottle of wine, taking a drink. The sculptor who carved this cherub was very good at the figural proportions of the human body. It recently came from a home of a wine broker in the beautiful Puy-En-Velay commune in the haute Loire department in South Central France. The area is known for its magnificent cathedrals and statuary. Perfect for any wine connoisseur, this beautiful carved wooden wine cherub will be the focal point of any wine cellar or tasting room.
